Well, my husband fixed it. First of all, the parts came super quick! He then had to take out the installed dryness sensor unit and install a new one with the new filter that prevents lint from getting into the exhaust motor. When the exhaust motor is filled with lint, it makes a thumping sound. So, before he put in the new parts, he had to disassemble the dryer to clean out the exhaust motor from the compacted lint. Replaced the inlet control thermis (thermostat) . Now it completes the cycle but clothes are not 100 % dry. I would add 15 minutes more and that helps.
FYI: you don't need to remove the drum, just remove the top cover and that will give you enough space to replace the sensor
