Ken B Wayne , NJ November 22, 2016 Dryer would not heat I looked at online repair videos on how to fix a Maytag dryer. When I knew what parts I needed, I could not find any local supply stores for the part. It was late Friday afternoon when I ordered my parts on AppliancePartsPros.com It stated Standard delivery was two business days. So I expected my parts to arrive on Tuesday. To my great surprise, the parts arrived on SATURDAY. Totally shocked, but extremely pleased. Gary D Mentone , CA April 03, 2015 Appliance: Model MAYTAG GAS DRYER MGD5700TQ0 Had dryer heat sometimes other times no heat and heat temp was low took forever to dry Used internet to describe problem. Ordered Flame Sensor, Dryer Cycle Thermostat, and Dryer Valve Coil Kit. Used ohm meter on Flame Sensor and Dryer Cycle Thermostat and it showed a problem. I changed the Valve coils as well as a just in case. Since I had everything apart it was easy to do them all. Gas Dryer fired right up and is drying clothes as if the Maytag Dryer was brand new! ps. I could not believe how quickly I received these parts. Ordered in the afternoon one day and received the part sthe next morning. GREAT JOB! Linda S South Elgin , IL August 02, 2015 Dryer wouldn't heat the air Diagnosed the problem on appliancepartspros website. Watched the video. Opened the back and tested the fuse and thermostat with my multimeter. Ordered the parts and would of received the next day except for FedEx forgot to put them on the truck. Replaced the two parts and and put the back, back on the dryer. Now have heated air! All in total including removing the back and testing and then replacing the parts and reinstalling the back I would cay was less then 30 minutes. Shawna S La Mesa , CA March 15, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer LGQ8000JQ0 No heat during dryer cycle I watched a few repair videos with similar problems, and seeing it could be one of about three separate but related issues, I went with a proactive replacement of the Dryer Thermal Fuse; Dryer Cycle Thermostat; and the High Limit Thermostat. Also, after taking the back off and cleaning, I decided to replace my Lint Screen Housing Foam Seal which was clearly in need of replacement. Effecting all potential problems at once cost me a a little bit more, but easily worth my time (or the cost of a repairman simply showing up at my house.) I replaced everything at once, and it now works better than ever.
