Genuine Lg part

Part Number: 6750C-0004R
The Compressor Overload Protector is an OEM replacement part for LG refrigerators. It plays an important safety role in protecting the compressor from damage due to excessive heat. Located near the compressor unit, the overload protector functions to shut off power to the compressor if temperatures become too high during operation.
Causes can include normal wear over time rendering it less responsive to temperature changes. Mineral or refrigerant deposits may also impede its ability to detect overheating conditions accurately.
Symptoms of a faulty overload protector include:
- Refrigerator fails to properly cool or the compressor does not run
- Circuit board or electrical component failure or burnout
- Lack of cold air production and higher than normal freezer/fridge temperatures
This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Sears/Kenmore models.

This replacement switch restores reliable on/off signaling to the circuit it controls, helping your appliance start, stop, and respond correctly. A worn switch can cause intermittent operation, no response, or lights and functions that don't activate. What it does:

- Typical symptoms include won't start, won't stop, light won't turn on/off, or intermittent operation
- Can be checked with a multimeter for continuity when actuated
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; turn off gas or water supply if applicable
- Access the switch, note wire locations, and transfer leads one at a time to the new switch

This fixed-value resistor is an electrical component used in select dryers to limit current in a specific control circuit. It helps the timer or electronic control operate correctly by dropping voltage to safe, design-intended levels.
- Provides precise resistance to reduce voltage/current in the designated dryer circuit
- Supports proper operation of the timer, control board, or end-of-cycle signal (varies by model)
- Failure may present as a timer that won't advance, an inoperative signal/buzzer, or irregular cycle behavior
- Replace if visibly burned/damaged or if testing shows an open or shorted condition
What's included: One resistor Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing
- Access the console/wiring harness and note original wire routing
- Make secure, insulated connections and route the resistor/leads exactly as original to avoid heat or chafing
- After installation, run a test cycle to ensure proper operation of the affected function

I unscrewed the 3 Phillips screws on the back of the dryer controls housing, then it folds forward for access to each control switch. the old one popped out, and I swapped the wires using a needle nose pliers, one by one, from the old switch to the new switch. The part was an exact fit, and popped right back into the housing. I screwed the 3 screws back in, pushed on the new knob, and it looks and works like new !
