I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel. Take your time and take pictures as you go so you can get it all back together again after installing the conversion kit. It will take you at least an hour, and you need room to work. Watched u tube video. Ordered replacement water inlet valve and new hoses. Dismantled washer and replaced defective valve and installed new hoses. The repair went very easily and the washer worked perfectly as a result. Read more

My only problem was I didn't have the part in stock. I do maintenance at a 150 unit Apt. complex. The fridgidare model we have all 3 shelves are different. Ordered a new drain hose and extension part. The prices including shipping were more reasonable than driving back and forth to the store just to piece meal parts together. Very frustrating. Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it.
