I replace the old timer with the new one I purchased from appliance parts pros.com I removed the nuts from back of top console of the dryer. Removed the electrical prongs from the old timer and then replace with new timer than plug dryer in wall and started the dryer on timed cycle and the heating elements kicked in and my wife was smiling from ear to ear. I am a 76 year old woman and hesitated to tackle the job. But my son sent me a Utube video "how to replace the board," and I was able to replace it, surprisingly, quite easily. I unplugged the freezer, removed the old control board by prying it out with my hands and then pressed in the new control board with my hands. The freezer functioned normally after it was plugged into the wall outlet again. Someone with large hands or short fingernails might benefit from the use of a straight blade screwdriver while prying out the broken control board. Read more

So, after looking for replacement parts, I found these. I was delighted. My original knobs were plastic with a silver finish. They had blistered from the heat of the stove over the years. The replacement knobs were all metal. Price was right. Very happy. Read more
