I found a few videos on YouTube about other dryers that gave me enough information to figure out my own. I was able to pull out the heater element and replace it with a new one that arrived the day after I purchased it. I also replaced the thermal fuse and thermostat. Read more

After doing some research the problem appeared to be the door safety switches. I ordered 3 new ones to replace all the original ones. Some minor disassembly of the microwave front was required to reach the fuse and switches. To reach the switches the control panel wires needed to be unplugged and the panel removed. DIY. The delivery to Milwaukee took two days. The project was very easy and took about 1hr. The only tools required were a screw driver (electric) and a pliers. Just make sure your irganized with the screws so you don't lose any or mix up which ones go back in which holes. There's about 20 total screws. This $50 part saved me from having to buy my wife a $1000+ oven. Read more

All I had to do is take off 4 screws from the top panel that holds the glass. 2 of the 4 are at the inner front of panel of the door and remaining 2 are on either side. Once that panel is removed you place the small 4 brackets on each hole then pop the glass in then put the black panel in then screw back all 4 screws and you start cooking Tango chicken. Read more

I was able to find the model number on the lower right hand side of the range/oven, a GE True Temp. I Googled it to find parts, and thought I had found the correct sensor, but was very pleased that the ApplianceParts sire suggested I check compatability again before the order. I had to remove the dishwasher about 6 inches then remove the door springs and remove the door. Next was to open the cover to reach the circuit board and remove it. The new board was put in and attached the plug. and put the door back together and reinstall the door and springs. Turned the power to check that the lights came on. This was an incredibly easy fix. Took 15 minutes max. Unscrewed the innermost door panel and removed the bracket that held the old glass in. Set the new glass in place, put the bracket back, and put the put panel/glass back and screwed it back in. Read more
