I replaced the motor by removing 5 screws from the bottom of the microwave and 1 screws from the motor. Very easy to replace, I didn't even have to remove it from the wall (I unplugged it just in case).

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business.

I removed the 7 screws on the bottom of the microwave that held the bottom sheet metal piece.
The piece dropped down , exposing the turntable motor. I ordered the parts I needed, the motor and the coupler (which had broken), and when they arrived the next day, I removed the 2 screws which held the motor in place and installed the new motor.
