I replaced the upper nozzle guide, nozzle shaft and upper spray arm. I also replaced the pump gasket for good measure. Top rack dishes had not been cleaning properly. I first removed the filter assembly to inspect the main pump from above. It was clogged but after cleaning and reassembly I observed that while middle and bottom spray arms were changing position, the upper spray arm was not. The upper spray arm mount on our KitchenAide dishwasher wore out, allowing the spray arm to droop into the dishes and pots in the lower rack. Oven is a slide in. I pulled it out just a Few inches and removed 8 screws and Pulled the face down to expose the unit. The control unit had 4 screws and 4 Plugins. It only took me less than 10 Minutes to replace unit and slide back In place. Read more

I first tested and replaced the temperature sensor. Since this is a slide-in range, I managed to pull it out just enough to access the back without disconnecting the downdraft and gas line. (For wall models this would not be the case.) Unfortunately, that did not do it. Next I replaced the lower heating element because it was a little below the ohms level it should be at. No go.
