I replaced both the solenoid (part of the inlet valve kit) and the pressure sensor. Online research suggested my intermittent issue with the cold water fill being just a trickle and then causing an error was likely due to one or both of those two parts failing. Since they are in the same spot it was suggested (and I agree) that it is best to replace both at the same time. The belt/Idler kit arrived next day after placing the order. The included directions were very clear with an exploded diagram. Four bolts remove the motor/pump assembly from the machine, three clips release the pump from the motor, then four small nuts remove the support brace from the motor to get access to the pulley and lever. This is a control knob for washing machines. This control knob is used to adjust the water temperature and level settings on the unit. It is manufactured out of a white plastic. The replacement is very easy and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. All that this process involves is pulling the old knob off and sliding the new knob on.A new control knob will be needed if the original is cracked, broken, or damaged in any way. Over time, the white plastic may begin to yellow, and the user may wish to replace the control knob for cosmetic purposes. If the knob is not actuating the desired cycle, it will need to be replaced.This control knob is a genuine SpeedQueen part and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
