I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. Followed linked video instructions and replaced with new flat style Oven Igniter Kit. Some repair info background, while out shopping for a replacement oven ($1000 plus) a terrific salesman listened to the issue with my current oven and recalled his same issue and solution. Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more

Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

After researching on the internet I found I needed a new oven temperature sensor, and this site had the fastest delivery and a great price! I also like the videos telling you how to do the repair. Tappen Gas Stove circa 1981 (uses Fridgidaire parts). Unplugged stove from 110 wall outlet. Spark control module located on back side of stove about mid-way down on left side under a black cover that juts out. Black cover had 2 phillips head screws...removed the black cover and the spark module was right there...held on by 2 additional phillips screws.
