Replacement inner glass panel for oven doors. Installs between door layers. Needed when original glass is cracked, chipped, or shattered from impact.
Removing the oven door, carefully taking it apart to remove the broken panel, cleaning everything, putting in the new glass panel and reassambling took me about an hour. This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element. This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall. Read more
