Michael H American Canyon , CA November 25, 2014 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG WA5471ABW/XAA01 Washer showed nf code(not filling) I determined that one of the cold water valves was not working so I replaced the assembly with this part. Even though it has the exact same part number it is not constructed the same. It is also green vs. white for OEM. After I installed it the washer worked, but I notice a(electrical?) buzzing noise whenever one of the valves operates. I wonder how long it will last. If this part fails I will get an OEM part next time. That way I`ll have extra valves that I can swap out with in the future (I`m saving the original assembly-still has 3 good valves on it). J Vincent A Summerville , SC November 14, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Washer WA5471ABP/XAA Samsung top loader washer with oe error code Washer kept "dinging" when I went to check on it the cycle had stop and it was displaying error code OE. I turned it off and back on, and it started back up. I decide to research the error code and found it indicate a faulty water inlet valve and others have experienced flooding. So, I went back to check on the washer and the tub was half full and still filling fast. I turned the power off - still filling; unplugged the washer - still filling; shut the hot water off - still filling; shut the cold water off and the water stopped ...indicating the cold water valve was stuck in the open position. Ordered a new water inlet valve from Appliance Parts Pros and installation was super easy (four electrical connections and four hoses). Had a question during installation and APP Tech Support was fantastic. Washer is now up and running good as new.
