Maybe 6 or 7 years ago I had a fridge conk out on me just before Christmas. Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. I ended up not needing to replace the fixer handle (part #AP4372038), but I'll keep it around just in case. Read more

Removed old handle endcap by unscrewing the two outer screws on the oven door that screw into the endcaps and holds the door together that allows you access the one inner screw that holds the endcap in place.
