The Bake Igniter is an OEM part for Bosch wall ovens and ranges. Located at the bottom of the oven cavity, it generates the radiant heat needed to initiate the bake burners.
Causes of a bad bake igniter can include failure of the delicate calrod-style heating element from prolonged high-temperature exposure over time.
Symptoms of a bad bake igniter include:
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
Replaced the ignighter and gas safety valve. Have to remove knobs, front panel and grill housing to access these parts. Read more
The Potentiometer is an OEM replacement part for Bosch gas range or cooktops. It functions as a three-terminal resistor that adjusts the flow of electric current, which in turn, controls the ignition and temperature of the cooktop. This component is essential for the precise operation and control of the gas burners, ensuring they light up and maintain the desired flame intensity. Causes of a malfunctioning Potentiometer can be attributed to wear and tear, electrical issues, or damage due to spills and cleaning products. A compromised potentiometer affects the flow of electric current, leading to issues with the ignition and temperature control of the gas burners. Symptoms of a bad Potentiometer include:
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
After watching a youtube video, I disassembled the front cover on the cooktop (be sure to turn off the power supply). I then switched the potentiometers on two burners. The burner that was not working now worked and the burner that did work did not. Easy to find the culprit....ordered a new potentiometer from here and though I only got regular shipping, it was actually delivered the NEXT DAY! 5 minutes, put in the new part, and all burners work. Great site, thanks for the help! Read more
The Venturi Gas Tube is an OEM replacement part for Bosch gas cooktop ranges. Its primary function is to ensure an optimal gas/air mixture for consistent and efficient burner combustion, thereby enhancing the overall performance of the cooktop. Causes involve normal wear of internal components from continuous heating and cooling cycles. Corrosion damage may also disrupt the venturi tube over time. Symptoms of a faulty venturi gas tube include:
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and some Kenmore models.
My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. In order to remove the glass top cover, you MUST remove the venturi tube. To do this you have to DRILL-OUT the venturi tube which requires a new venturi and orifice holder. The repair was difficult b/c most of the parts are no longer available. But then I found a ray-of-hope. I was able to find some Jennair (Maytag) parts but they are scarce. Later I found... Read more
Used to hold down the jet holder assembly.
First and foremost, don't believe everything you see on Youtube. In order to get to the gas solenoid that feeds the burner you MUST take the entire top off that side of the range. Remove the grates and burner tops. You will see 2x 20mm brass nut, or so it appears, that hold each burner in place on the splash/drip pan. It is not just a nut, it is a venturi that threads down into what is called the jet holder. You may get a socket on it and think you are getting it loose but, more than likely you... Read more
The Spark Ignition Switch is an OEM part for Bosch ranges and cooktops. It controls the ignition of surface burner flames by emitting an electrical spark when activated.
Causes of a bad switch can be general wear and fatigue over thousands of start cycles. Exposure to moisture, dust or metal debris could also damage electrical components internally.
Symptoms of a bad spark ignition switch include:
Replaced switch that's attached to burner valve. Read more
This factory fixing kit supplies the OEM hardware required to secure the appliance or designated components during installation or service. Replacing missing or damaged fasteners restores a solid, aligned mount so the unit stays stable without shifting, rattling, or gaps.
I ordered all the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com and in two days I had every new part that was. Ordered. After being told from the appliance repair company that I wouldn’t get parts for months. I received all parts within 4 days, 19 different parts! Read more
The temperature sensor is an electronic probe that monitors internal appliance temperature and reports it to the control so it can regulate operation. Replacing a failed sensor restores more accurate temperatures and can clear temperature-related error codes. What it does:
Replaced the bake element. The manufacturer did not leave enough wire to pull the connections into the oven so I had to open the back and locate the connections. Read more
This spark igniter is the burner electrode that creates the high-voltage spark to light the gas. Replacing a worn igniter restores quick, reliable ignition and helps eliminate repeated clicking or having to light the burner manually.
Replaced the ignition device & igniter and all is now well. The old ignition device was not a Bosch original part & lasted 1.5 years. Hope this genuine Bosch part will last longer. Read more
The Switch Selector is an OEM replacement part for Bosch ranges. It serves as the electronic interface controlling the various cooking modes and functions. Precise switching operation is necessary for reliable selection of bake, broil, warming, and other settings.
Causes of a bad switch selector include normal wear and tear from repeated use over extended periods. Exposure to liquid spills, steam, or cleaning chemicals may degrade internal electronic components.
Symptoms of a bad switch selector include:
The Solenoid Valve is an OEM part for Bosch ranges. Located inside the control panel, the solenoid valve regulates gas to individual burners during the cooking cycle. It opens and closes electrically to direct fuel when its paired control knob is turned on.
Symptoms of a bad solenoid valve include:
Causes can involve normal wear of moving internal parts, mineral buildup inhibiting valve movement, or physical damage. Failure reduces the range's functionality and safety.
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador and Gaggenau models.
This temperature regulator is the mechanical thermostat that controls oven heat. It senses cavity temperature and cycles the heat source on and off to reach and maintain your set temperature for consistent baking and roasting performance. What it does
This replacement tray restores the original fit and support in your appliance. It provides a stable surface for items and replaces a damaged or missing tray to keep things organized and functioning as intended.
The Tube is a genuine OEM part for Bosch ranges. This part facilitates the delivery of gas to the surface burners, ensuring that they operate efficiently and safely.
Over time, the Tube may exhibit signs of wear or damage due to rusting, physical damage or natural degradation.
Symptoms indicating the need for a new Tube include:
Upon disassembly, I found the burner gas tubes were seized in the burner assembly requiring destructive disassembly to remove them. After drilling these out, I was sure that it would take weeks to source all of the parts and get them back together. In three days all parts were at my door and the range was back together that day.
