Christine A Georgetown , TX February 22, 2022 The led light inside my whirlpool refrigerator was flashing like a strobe light in a disco i had to cover it with foil to even be able to use my refrigerator I ordered the correct part. It was super simple. I removed the plastic light cover being held in with a Phillips screw, popped it out, exposing the faulty light panel. It unplugged easily. Plugged in the new panel and put the cover back on. Five minutes tops. I removed the light module (one screw, one wire plug). I found a part number and ordered a replacement. The correct replacement arrived in a few days. It went back together very easily and it worked. AppliancePartsPros.com really helped keep the cost down as this is a large unit light and can be very expensive. Pretty easy fix, just getting to the unit, extracting and replacing it is the difficult part.
