The Infinite Switch is an OEM replacement part for GE ranges. This switch controls the operation of the large heating elements on the cooktop. The element switch is responsible for regulating power delivery to the various heating elements based on temperature and function settings. It allows for precise heating control to maintain optimal cooking temperatures. Over time, element switches can wear down from repeated use and heat exposure.
