This surface element infinite switch controls power to an electric cooktop/range burner. Replacing a worn switch restores smooth, adjustable heat and resolves issues like a burner stuck on high, not heating, or cycling erratically.

  • Common failure symptoms: burner won't heat, only heats on high, won't shut off, or heats unevenly/intermittently

What's included: One infinite control switch Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance before servicing
  • Pull off the knob, access the control panel, and note wire locations (take a photo)
  • Transfer wires one at a time to matching terminals on the new switch; secure the switch to the panel
  • Reassemble, restore power, and test burner operation through all settings
