Genuine Tecumseh part
By: Tecumseh
Part Number: 30547A
Genuine Tecumseh part
By: Tecumseh
Part Number: 30548B
This is a replacement condenser for select Tecumseh engines. The condenser is part of the ignition assembly and is required for proper operation of the ignition and optimal engine performance. The condenser is responsible for carrying the current and connecting the terminals. The condenser and ignition coil combine to create the ignition assembly and if one part is not working properly it can affect engine performance. When the ignition is not performing properly, or engine will not start or stay running, there could be a problem with the ignition assembly, and specifically with the condenser. This genuine OEM condenser is made to exact standards and is designed to work with engines in select lawn and garden equipment. The condenser is an electrical part and should always be replaced with gloves and on a cool engine that has been disconnected from power. This durable part is made of metal and wire and sold individually. Other parts of the assembly and hardware will require an additional purchase.

Part Number: 30560A
As an ignition coil, this OEM replacement part is tasked with sending voltage to a spark plug whenever the engine is not currently running. It can be used in many tools including snowblowers and lawnmowers. If the ignition coil has malfunctioned or is no longer working, the engine on the lawn and garden equipment will not start. In some cases, a replacement governor arm will also be required. In some cases, when an ignition coil breaks or stops working properly, it will have evidence of cracks, carbon tracking, or burn marks. If visual inspection shows any of those things are present, the ignition coil will need to be replaced. Testing the ignition coil is simple and requires switching it out for a new one to see if the problems stop occurring. A spark tester can also be used to see if the ignition coil has gone bad. This ignition coil is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is compatible with lawnmowers, generators, snowblowers, and tillers manufactured by Briggs & Stratton, Tecumseh, Craftsman, and Toro. It comes as an individual part. An ignition tester can be useful for installation and troubleshooting with this component.

Genuine Tecumseh part

Part Number: 34443D
This is an ignition coil, also known as a starter coil, responsible for transferring the low current from a battery to the spark plug to create a spark that will start the engine. Designed to increase the intensity of ignition energy, the ignition coil steps up the voltage and can be considered as one of the keys to effective combustion.
Engine misfires and equipment stalls are indications of a faulty ignition coil. If the equipment starts then shuts down, the coil may be damaged or loose. A machine that won't restart while it's hot is also a sign of a bad coil that needs replacement.
This OEM replacement part is sourced straight from the manufacturer. It works with specific models of pressure washers, generators, lawnmowers, and small engines from Craftsman, Briggs & Stratton, MTD, Toro, and Husqvarna. It is sold individually.

Genuine Tecumseh part

Part Number: 35135B
This is a replacement solid state ignition for a wide range of small engines and is a guaranteed authentic OEM replacement part. This ignition works in conjunction with a flywheel magneto to produce an ignition spark in an engine. This works by passing electrical currents generated by magnets through the ignition coil and into a spark plug. This spark is what causes fuel and oxygen to combust, creating the energy needed to power an engine. Without a functioning ignition, an engine will not work. Through repeated use, the insulating material the protects an ignition can begin to break down. Heat and vibrations from the engine will slowly wear away and expose the coil to the elements. When this happens, the coil will no longer carry a current as efficiently as the ignition will begin to fail. Replacing the ignition with this part will depend on your appliance so follow the user's manual accordingly. This part is designed to be used with Toro, MTD, Briggs & Stratton, and Tecumseh products such as snowblowers, generators, and small engine appliances. It is sourced from its original manufacturer and ships individually.

A magneto is responsible for electricity production. It consists of five parts - the armature, primary coil, secondary coil, ignition, and magnets (in the flywheel). When the magnets fly past this component, it creates a magnetic field. When it is set at maximum, the electronic control unit will open, breaking the current flow to the primary coil and increasing voltage. The second coil will then amplify the voltage more before feeding it to the spark plug. When the armature fails, there might not be enough of a magnetic field for the primary and secondary coils to use. Thus, the spark plug will not get the voltage it needs to start the engine.
Replacing the armature magneto may take 30 minutes or less. First, remove the engine housing and spark plug connector. Use a monkey wrench to loosen the mount holding the armature. Underneath, there is a cable that goes to the ignition. Detach it by gently pulling it away from the armature magneto. Align the flywheel on the post where the replacement will go. Reattach the cable and insert the armature through the post. Put the bolts back to secure the replacement in place. Make sure that that armature doesn't hit the flywheel. Connect the wire to the spark plug.
This armature magneto is a genuine Briggs & Stratton product compatible with Briggs & Stratton engines. This replacement is sold individually. Armature magneto bolts are sold separately.
