This is a genuine throttle trigger replacement designed for use with select tillers. The throttle trigger attaches to the throttle control at the handle and is what is used to power the machine. When the trigger is squeezed, the throttle cable will engage the engine and the tiller will begin to work. Releasing the trigger will stop the machine from running. This is a plastic piece and it is exposed to repetitive motion and the outdoor elements, which means that it can break over time even with regular use. A replacement will be necessary to use the tiller. This genuine OEM throttle trigger is manufactured and designed for Mantis tillers and cultivators that feature the old-style throttle control. It fits dozens of models from Echo and Mantis. It is made of durable plastic and sold as an individual unit. No hardware, cables, or other components are included with this purchase. Replacing the throttle control is a quick job that requires only a couple of tools and shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Be sure to disengage the spark plug or otherwise disconnect power to the engine for safety before working on any part of the throttle system.
