Viking Hose Or Tube

First we tried to change the filter. Water was leaking from the area of the filter when we changed the filter. We purchased an "original" Fridgidaire filter, no change. Did some research on the internet and decided to change the two tubes and the filter valve (at the back of the filter housing). Must have been the right diagnostic and the right part to make the repair, Gave me an opportunity to clean the condenser coils as well. After 6 years of service they needed it badly. Read more

The online video to change the water tube from the solenoid to filter was very helpful. It made the project straightforward. I had to replace the water tank tube as well. It was more challenging because there was no video for my model refrigerator (Frigidaire French Door) but a side-by-side unit video provided enough hints.
