Cleaned up broken glass. Ordered new glass. Removed 2 screws. Pulled back handle. Inserted new glass into track at bottom. Snapped in handle. Tightened up the 2 screws. Done. Peace of cake!! Video on your site was helpful.

Old glass was already disposed of..I removed two screws from inside door side that released handle..new glass has obvious shiny side and a bit duller side..shiny side placed looking at you ..glass sets in a metal channel then lines up with door handle holes..HOLD on to glass until handle attached..line up handle with screw holes and re attach handle..DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN SCREWS..just snug..It's how I broke original glass over tightening.Be careful if old glass still present this stuff just...

I took off the door handle with a phillips screw driver then pryed off the inner and outer plastic frames of the door with a small putty knife being careful not to let the glass fall out. I then installed the glass into the new frame and reinstalled them onto the door. Very simple fix!

Very easy to replace. Removed the door from the oven and placed on a soft surface (carpet). Removed the top bracket (4 small screws) Clear the door of all broken glass. Placed new liner with the new provided gasket in the lower brackets and re-installed the top bracket. It took longer to clear the glass pieces from the door then to install the new liner.

We ordered the replacement part from Appliance Parts Pro and the cost was quite reasonable and shipping was lightning fast!
Replacement was quite easy and straight forward - remove handle and the two guides from the bottom that hold the glass, attach handle to new glass, screw in the new glass and replace the guides.

The front door glass of my ge xl44 gas range was shattered by a flying crockpot Kurt N. • South Williamsport , PA • May 10, 2017
I lifted up the door and removed it.
Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor.
I placed the door on the newspaper upside down.
With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim.
I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove.
I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim.
It took 30 minutes to replace the glass and clean up the glass
fragments from the previous door glass.
I looked up a video on how to replace it Utube.
