Everything was easy to replace. Did it all by hand except the access cover that needed a socket wrench. The door didn't close that well at first. I had to wait a couple of days for the rubber pieces to fit into the door frame. Read more

I ordered a refrigerator door hinge, hinge pin, and washer. The descriptions and pictures imply that these items are sold separately. However, the hinge I received was an assembly that included a pin and washer. I replaced the original hinge assembly with the new assembly, but the door still sagged (not as badly as before). It was really easy. I found the part number using an online search, ordered the shelf and just inserted the ends into the holes in the freezer walls. Fortunately, I read on a question and answer forum that four end caps were also required. This detail was not listed in the shelf description so knowing this, I was able to order the caps along with the shelf and avoid having to place a second order once I got the shelf and discovered that I needed the end caps. After receiving my new shelf I unscrewed the old meat drawer track from the unit. Using the same screws and track i was able to seamlessly attach both to the new shelf. My meat drawer fit perfectly and I was able to install the new shelf unit into my refrigerator within minutes. Read more

Looked for obvious signs of mal-function, burned wires, etc. I found that the compressor controller(attached to the compressor) had an obvious burned-out spot. Took a chance that was the problem (it was); ordered all new OEM parts, including a new timer and run capacitor (a part that kicks in every time the compressor starts).
