Daniel C Woodbine , MD January 14, 2017 Appliance: Model 110.82980110 Top agitator would not spin I have a 25 year old Kenmore washer that works well and didn't want to get a new washer as they don't make them like they used to. Upon removing the top cap of the agitator and doing an inspection, the agitator dogs were completely broken into pieces. Due to age we decided to replace the lower and upper agitator along with the agitator auger dogs repair kit. All new parts and works fine. On inspection of old parts, we probably could have gotten away with just a $5 repair for the plastic dogs in the auger, instead of the $131 dollar repair for all of the additional parts, but I guess there is something to be said for peace of mind. The teeth in the auger were showing some wear. AppliancePartsPros.com had the best price and shipping was fast. Edward R Apple Valley , CA December 25, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer - Direct Drive LSQ9600LW0 Upper agitator not working First tried to put new agitator dogs in. That worked about two days then agitator stopped spinning again. Knew that might happen because the teeth on the old upper agitator were severly worn. Then ordered new upper auger-agitator and more agitator dogs from appliancepartspros. Could not find my model number but based on their schematics of different washing machines I recognized my washing machine. Parts fit perfectly and washer is now working like new and also found out my model number for future reference. BTW, prices on appliancepartspros were excellent compared to other places I shopped. Also ordered on a monday morning and had my package delivered tuesday afternoon and that was with standard shipping. The video on this site was very helpful as was ordering the part. Delivery was very quick. 2 1/2 days from when I ordered it to on my door step (and it was just regular delivery also). I will use this site again along with referring it to others as well. I wish other sites were as user friendly as this one. Great job guys !!!! Read More... Darrell B Coconut Creek , FL April 10, 2016 My washer was no longer agitating After looking I figured out that the agitator and cam system was not working anymore. The agitator turned freely in both directions which indicated that the cams were not working anymore (turned out they had all broken off). I decided to replace both the agitator and the cam system. So to fix. You will need a long nut driver set or a rachet set with a long extension. Remove the cap covering the center of the agitator. Remove the center bolt by unscrewing with the nut driver. Grab the agitator and lift the entire assembly out. Place the new agitator in place paying attention to the alignment. Assemble the cam system and drop into place per the enclosed instructions. Align again and tighten. If you are mechanically inclined this is a easy project. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers
