Description

This dryer exhaust fan is used on some Admiral, Crosley, Hoover, Magic Chef, Maytag, Montgomery Ward and Norge brands. Size: 3-1/8 inches deep, 7 1/2 inch fin diameter, 6 3/4 inch hub diameter, 20 standard fins, 1/2 inch diameter motor shaft, 7/16 inch diameter motor shaft to flat side of shaft. Blower wheel clamp not included. For the clamp order 25-7855.

Appliance: Model LNC7748A87 KENMORE DRY MFG FOR MONTGOMERY WARD

Electric loud & noisy crunching grinding sound

Examined blower wheel and found it had worn into a complete circle instead of being squared off at the top where it fit onto the shaft of the motor which was squared off. Found replacement Blower Wheel and compared new wheel to old wheel to confirm my suspicions. Once confirmed ordered the blower wheel along with the clamp and the issue is completely resolved.

Dryer was making a terrible grinding noise

I removed the front of the dryer, two clips and two screws and a lift got that front out of the way. I touched the blower motor wheel and it was spinning freely on the shaft. I ordered the wheel, the clamp and the clip that goes on the front of the motor shaft and repaired it in less than an hour. Complete from start to finish including the ordering of parts.
