Gary G Canton , GA October 14, 2014 Control panel on dishwasher no longer worked Took the 6 hex screws out and simply unplugged a couple of wires off the control panel. Called appliance parts pros and gave them the part number that was embossed on part. They had it in stock and shipped it. I received it within 3 days. Plug the wires back into the part and replaced the 6 screws. 10 minutes top to repair. Highly recommend you doing this. Would have cost hundreds more if a professional had done this. Thanks !! Richard H Montpelier , VT August 01, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB7609AWW2 Normal wash button wouldn't light up; light and heavy would but machine wouldn't start Had to replace both the Electronic Control and Control Panel. Tried each one separately. Only worked with both new parts. Easy fix, but watch youtube on replacing Electronic Control; there are a few helpful tips on disconnections.
