Help was needed only to hold the panels for lining up the screw hols, and secure couple screws on either side. Max. 15 minutes, from the time of opening the package. I paid for 2 day shipping (wife doesn't enjoy doing dishes by hand) and got the part in 1 day! Simple, simple project, just wish Whirlpool designed a better control panel that was more steam insulated--we won't be using the heated drying cycle any longer to prolong the control panel's life expectancy.
