Lorena H Westerville , OH April 12, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Electric Cooktop MEC7430WB00 12" burner on a glass cooktop (whirlpool) was not working After reviewing information on your site, I took the cooktop apart and removed the 12" element, noting that it was shorted out and needed replacing. I ordered the part in the morning. I was expecting the part to arrive in 3-5 business days. The part was at my door the following morning! This is the 2nd time I've used this site to order parts - in both cases, I received the parts in a day or 2. I replaced the element and everything works as designed. I need to get an infinite switch as well and eventually another burner. The coil was burned though on another burner. It seems this range decided to break down all at once.
