Pamela R Indianapolis , IN March 25, 2018 Appliance: Maytag 30" Electric Freestanding Self Clean Range Convect Ove MER6875BAS18 2 maytag smooth top stove burners were not turning all the way on Purchased the triple burner and dual burner element. I added my model of stove and I was able to pull up diagrams of the stove parts. The parts were easy to find using the diagrams and the burner elements were marked 17 & 15 so I placed my order. Parts were here in a couple of days. The tricky part was figuring out how to get into the stove top. I was a few youtube videos to see different replacement. My husband and I got the stove top off and flipped it over on the counter. We looked at the wires and connectors and they did not exactly match. I called the number on the packing slip that came with the burner elements that said if you need help call. Michael answered and was a great help. I sent Michael photos of both the old connectors and new. Micheal was able to walk us through matching the connector wires to the proper location. We were able to put the top back plug in the stove and both burners are working great. Don Joseph L Athol , MA July 27, 2014 The surface element on our glasstop stove had the center ring not working I bought the element after reading that this is the most likely problem instead of checking the switch first. Then followed the directions that I pulled off the internet. I had it fixed in less than 25 minutes. The hardest part was making sure all of the wires were correct and the screws were not overtightened. Very easy job. I don't know why I waited so long to do it. Janet T Linn , MO February 09, 2015 Appliance: Model MAYTAG 850 SERIES The center of the triple burner on my maytag 850 series would not heat up Checked the Internet to see if anyone had that problem! Turns out I had to replace the element. Also checked the Internet to see how to replace it. Next, of course, I checked the Internet again to shop for the element. AppliancePartsPros had the best price. Ordered it online one morning, and could not believe it was delivered to my door the NEXT DAY! I set aside some time to work on it, but things went smoothly. Kept track of the wires as I removed the clips with a small pair of pliers. I should have had a small wrench for the nuts holding the bottom of the burner! Much easier than I thought it would be. Flipped the breaker back on, and lo and behold, no sparks or popping! Everything works!
