Removed the top plate and was able to disconnect door switch. Pryed front switch out from inside front door. Put new switch in through front door of machine. Then I removed the electronics bracket on the left side. From there I was able to pull the sensor out from the front and place the new one in position. Robert O Waukegan , IL February 08, 2019 Appliance: Whirlpool Dryer GGW9200LW0 My dryer wouldn’t start, all the lights on the controls came on, but when I press the start button it would come up with a PF code I watched the video from Appliance Parts Pros, & the guy addressed a few key pointers on what’s going on with my Whirlpool Duet Dryer. Before I knew about Appliance Part Pros I asked people from stores, shops, & they all were saying it’s one of the thermostats. So I started to break my dryer apart to get to the thermal fuses, & looked around & was about to start replacing all of them due to the fact I don’t own a meter, then I watched YouTube & Appliance Pros videoclip came one with my exact dryer & I tapped on to the link to learn more & it came across my Door Switch being the first to go a lot due to opening & closing the door plus I purchased my dryer used off the internet. So I ordered the switch & watch the video that took me step by step & once I was done & plug-in the Dyer & said a prayer & Boom it’s running like new. Ronald P West Henrietta , NY September 13, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer GGW9250PW2 Had to slam door to get the dryer to work i guessed it was a bad door switch Took off the top cover of the dryer and the sheet metal cover where the control board is. Pulled the molex plug for the switch, pull off where the wires were anchored into the dryer, pulled the switch through the front of the unit and replaced the switch.
