Edward J Eclectic , AL February 20, 2015 Clothes dryer drum stopped rotating Located model number and went to Appliance Parts Pros.com to check the repair instructions on belt and motor. Used the suggestions to diagnose problem as a broken belt. I also ordered two top locks to replace the originals that were very brittle plastic that broke when I opened the dryer. Ordered the parts on Presidents Day, and received the parts the next day. The dryer was back in service in 24 hours. While there, and due to the age of the dryer, also replaced the drum belt, and idler pulley, and the gasket at the back of the drum since the old one was cracking and dry rotted. Read More... Eugene S Clarksville , TN January 25, 2015 Appliance: Model LER 5636LQ0 The dryer door switch was inoperable the only way to turn the dryer off and on was by using tmachine cycle switch along with the off/on switch knob I logged on to the Appliance Parts Pros web site ,watched the door switch installation video and ordered my part.
