The Rotating Handle is an OEM part for Whirlpool mixers. It allows you to raise and lower the mixing bowl for convenient access during the mixing process.
A bad rotating handle can be caused by regular use, accidental damage, or excessive force applied during operation. If you notice cracks, a loose or wobbly fit, or difficulty in rotating the handle smoothly, it may indicate a problem with the handle itself.
Symptoms of a bad rotating handle include:
- Cracked or damaged handle surface
- Loose or insecure fit of the handle on the mixer
- Inability to raise or lower the mixing bowl
Replace your faulty handle with this genuine OEM part to restore your mixer.
This Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.

Kitchenaid mixer shipped without a handle Greg F. • Maineville , OH • January 07, 2019
Our Kitchen Aid mixer was shipped without a handle on the arm that raises and lowers the bowl. Apparently it was a cost savings measure on some models. Kitchen Aid support was no help. I searched Appliance Parts Pro, found the part, ordered it and was able to install with only a rubber mallet. Price and shipping was fair.
