Timothy D Melrose , MA November 04, 2016 Appliance: Model 665.12793K310 Lower sprayer arm not rotating I replaced the diverter motor. Used videos on the web to walk me through it. I also "chatted" with the online help service by posting a question. They also sent me the service manual so I could run diagnostics. It was harder to get the unit out the quasi-permanent mounting to the cabinets than it was to actually replace the motor. Probably saved $200 and a week of time doing it myself. Scott A Canton , GA July 23, 2021 Leaking diverter motor seal Replaced the sump and diverter motor at the same time. A pretty simple repair just take a picture or two before you start, remove the wires and start removing the parts so you can remove the sump. Everything went back together very well and I have ran three wash cycles to validate no leaks before putting the trim kit back. Very happy. Read More... Frank M Wilmington , MA November 04, 2019 Yup Replaced the motor and sump assembly because each of the shaft seals had failed. The seal inside the motor slid down out of position and the seal in the sump where the shaft motor goes through was suspect. Replaced both and the discharge motor seal. Parts were awesome. Delivery time awesome and everything works as it should. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set
Ed L Erie , CO July 28, 2022 Appliance: Kenmore Undercounter Dishwasher 66512793K311 Not moving arms plus error code for vent. Replaced the diverter motor which got the arms going. Getting to be an expert at that as this is the second one. Known leaking issue with them and they stop. Included was the needed grease which was a very nice touch. Also replaced the gasket on top with one from The Grommet Guru that will hopefully keep the leaks away as it has a spring inside it. Did not solve the vent error code with the vent part. Looks like the fan is corroded and have another on order. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
