James M Norman , OK September 02, 2023 Appliance: Whirlpool Dishwasher WDF330PAHW2 The dishwasher filled but did not wash. The water just sat in bottom of the tub, but the dishes never got wet. The water would drain out at the end of the cycle. I took a chance that it was the circulation pump and not the control panel since everything else seemed to be working. I replaced the circulation pump &motor and the problem was solved. The hardest part was getting the DW out of the cabinet since it was a very tight fit due to the floor tile. The job of replacing the part only took about 15~20 minutes thanks to the repair video. Thanks! Katrina D Memphis , TN June 23, 2022 Burned out circulation pump Found a video that was incredibly helpful. Be prepared that the repair calls for fully uninstalling the dishwasher, so it's a more in-depth process than just taking off the kick plate and reaching under. This part from Appliance Parts Pros does have a pinch clamp on it, which requires a particular tool to effectively close, not just pliers, so I did have to run to the store. Ken G Lexington , SC January 25, 2024 Appliance: Whirlpool Dishwasher WDF520PADB7 The spray arms on the dishwasher were not spraying. Replaced the circulation pump. Had to buy a hose clamp crimper to use the clamp that came with the pump. Could not find the thinner screw hose clamp suggested in the video locally. It would have taken less time if you recommend/offered the hose clamp at the time of purchase. Ronald H Wallkill , NY February 05, 2023 No water circulation or washer arm motion during wash cycle. Replaced the Circulation Pump. You'll need to remove the dishwasher from under the cabinet. Lay the unit on its back. Removal of the old pump wasn't difficult. The new pump comes with a crimp clamp so you either need to purchase a crimp tool (pex style works) or get a hose clamp to replace it. Read More...
