Anita M Decatur , MI November 16, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Undercounter Dishwasher MDB7749AWW2 The left cycle selection buttons were not working We were able to locate the diagnostic instructions on the underside of the dishwasher and look through the troubleshooting guide. We followed the directions for testing to see if it was the control panel or the control board. It confirmed it was the control panel. My hubby wasn’t going to be home until late the night the part arrived and since I helped him take it apart to test, I was able to put the new part in myself before he got home. Removed 7 screws. Popped a couple parts out and a couple more back in, screws back in, power back on and it was good as new. Read More... Tested the door latch switch continuity - good, tested the heat thermostat continuity - good. Ordered a new control panel. After replacing the panel, all was working again. Read More...
