Damon T Lemoore , CA August 24, 2018 Appliance: Whirlpool Home Washers Direct-Drive LSL9345EZ1 Leaking water pump Replaced water pump and rusted bottom retainer clip. Reinstalling the washer body is the hardest part of the repair. You will want the washer in position where you can get to both sides to make sure that the slot cut in the bottom line up with the rear notches. Walter S Melrose Park , IL October 05, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer - Direct Drive LSB6400LW0 Blew up capacitor After changing the motor coupler last week, the machine was leaking some. Did not think much of it, seems I cracked the pump housing when putting it back on. I took the road of, at least its working again, cant complain about a little water on the floor. Ended up frying both the motor switch and the capacitor from spraying off the cabinet and onto the switch. Could have just been the 70.00 pump, instead, a 200.00 bill for the three parts. Challenging part is rewiring that motor switch one at a time so you put them in the right place.
