Shut off the power, loosened the bracket that hold the cooktop tight, lifted the cooktop up and placed some boards under it to support it, removed the knobs, unsrewed the 13 screws that held it in pace and removed it, installed new top and reversed the process. Read more

I turned off the breaker to the Cook top, I then got under the counter and pushed the cook top through the opening in the counter, placed the cook top over the opening on the counter to stabilize it and then I used a Phillip head screwdriver removed all the screws , lifted the broken glass and put on the new glass, replaced the screws, placed the cook top back into the opening on the counter and turned back on the breaker.
