• Door won't close

For the third time in four years, the hinges failed on my KitchenAid wall oven. The appliance is out of warranty and KitchenAid does not consider this to be worthy of any recall. I was tired of paying the appliance repairman to change out the hinges, so I ordered the part online. This is for the Whirlpool in-wall double oven GBD307PDS10. No power and the door locked after the shutdown before the self-cleaning cycle was over. Bought a Thermador PRSE48" dual fuel range from Craigslist really cheap because it didn't work. Did a little research and decided to overhaul most of the top (gas) end. For what I paid for it it was worth it and I'd have a good stove with new components. After cleaning our stove top, a couple of the grate pads had fallen off the bottom and went down the drain. The pots now rocked while cooking, and not in a good way. • Element will not heat

I ordered 2 bake elements and bulbs and was able to easily fix 1 of the ovens. The serviceman who repaired the left oven did not repair it correctly so, one of the wires was not accessible so, I could only fix one oven. After shutting off the power, I EASILY fixed the right oven - with a LOT of care and a little elbow grease - in disconnecting the broken element, by doing exactly as it said to in the video, making certain not to allow the wires to slip back into the hole that it was pulled...
