This ice deflector guides ice cubes from the icemaker into the ice bin to help keep ice delivery consistent and reduce cube jams or spills. It's a simple replacement that restores proper ice routing in compatible refrigerators. What it does:

Directs ice cubes from the icemaker into the ice bin for orderly dispensing
Helps prevent ice clumping and blockages that can stop ice flow
Keeps ice moving away from the icemaker assembly and into the bin
Restores proper alignment and function after a cracked or missing deflector

What's included: One ice deflector (1 count) Install notes:

Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing to avoid electrical or mechanical injury
Remove the ice bin or access panel per your model's service instructions to reach the deflector
Part typically snaps or slides into place; reuse existing fasteners unless new hardware is supplied
After installation, reconnect power and run the icemaker through a cycle; discard any ice made during the repair if contamination is suspected
