Klajdi P Jacksonville , FL January 14, 2025 Appliance: Model 110.92283100 Excessive shaking noise and walking of washer Washer is a Kenmore Series 80 Heavy Duty with direct drive. Disassembled the washer by removing tub, motor and transmission. Replaced suspension pads and tub suspension pads. Made sure all moving parts were aligned properly. Replaced noise dampening ring. Found corrosion damage on tub shaft. Cleaned with rust remover and sanded down to get a smooth surface. Replaced tub gasket due to damage from corrosion. Cleaned build-up from all parts. Put everything back together and releveled the machine with the adjustable feet. Vibration still present during spin cycle, but significantly damper, quieter and no walking. Read More... Kenneth B Fall River , MA November 09, 2018 Appliance: KitchenAid Residential Washers KAWS750JQ4 Washer would not spin and made loud noises when trying to spin. I replaced the Direct Drive Motor coupling. And while I was at it, I replaced the sound dampening ring as it had broken as well. The fixes took around 45 minutes each and the washer is running great. I would not have known the best way to disassemble the washer if it were not for the great videos this site had on the repairs. Read More...
