Jessica B Riverview , MI November 13, 2019 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WTW4800XQ2 Whirlpool washer model number wtw4800xq2 went off balance banging and bouncing around all of the time After looking up the model number of my washing machine on AppliancePartsPros.com I ordered the suspension rod kit, two sets of tub centering springs (one spring per corner), a Ring-Tub (mine was breaking apart due to banging around) and a spare suspension bearing kit in case I need it later. I spoke to a very helpful customer service rep on the phone just before placing my order. They have customer service representatives answering the phone late at night. I was surprised. All of my parts were shipped out super fast as advertised. There was a problem with FedEx not delivering some of them, yet tracking showing the delivery as complete. That was entirely the fault of FedEx. When I contacted AppliancePartsPros.com about it they were very kind and quickly and completely resolved the issue. I received my parts yesterday and completely fixed my washing machine today. The videos on this website were very helpful. I also looked at a few on YouTube. I felt ready to tackle the job even though I had never fixed a washing machine before. I am not new to fixing things though. In this house, Mama fixes things and the kid's help. We took about an hour and a half to unplug, turn off the water to it, detach the hoses, replace all of those parts, reattach the hoses, plug it back in, turn the water to it back on, then level the washer in my cramped laundry space. I also cleaned inside the washer while it was opened up. While fixing it we discovered that the machine had been completely missing tub centering springs. That, combined with worn-out springs on the original suspension rods and broken suspension bearings was causing all of the problems with the balance of the washer tub. I am very happy I found this company and took a chance of placing the order. My washer is running so quietly and staying put now. AppliancePartsPros.com deserves a good reputation. I also took the time to leave a good review with my local BBB because I am so impressed with their excellent customer service. Pro-tech C Costa Mesa , CA November 04, 2014 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WTW4800XQ2 Our washer was bouncing around unbalanced and out of control! I removed the control panel (dashboard), removed the top piece obove the tub. The tub ring was broken in a few spots and I noticed only 2 springs remaining of 4 corners of the tub, it looked like it was missing 2 springs so I ordered 4 new springs for each corner. In the mail I received 1 tub ring and 8 springs (each pack contained 2 springs). If you need 4 springs, order 2 packs. But now I thought maybe there are only supposed to be 2 springs installed. I installed 1 spring per corner anyway (4 springs) and a new tub ring, the washer has been quiet since. I have extra springs now just incase. Jane S Shelton , CT January 25, 2020 Appliance: Maytag Washer MVWC200XW3 The suspension springs were worn, causing the tub to bang against the sides during the spin cycle and crack the ring tub. Replaced the suspension rods and ring-tub. One note is that I did not anticipate how heavy the tub is. In the last stage of placing the suspension rods back in place, was not able to hold the weight of the tub with one hand while clipping on the support. My solution was to push the rod up through the cup then hook it on one of the old rods placed along the top of the washer. (I can send a photo.) Did the same with two more. This supported the tub enough for me to clip the fourth rod into the support. Then clipped the other rods in their supports.
