David P Chattanooga , TN October 07, 2024 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KSCS25FVMS03 Ice dispenser not dispensing ice driveshaft not spinning but motor starting The existing motor would come on when you pushed the door paddle for ice, but ice would not dispense. Determined there was an issue in the drivetrain. Had to replace the motor and gearbox assembly for the ice dispenser driveshaft. Also found a cracked driveshaft seal where the shaft enters the freezer compartment. Replacement parts fit perfect and now dispensing ice! Read More... The video on your site was helpful, but I had to go to YouTube to find my model. Replacing motor was easy. Hardest part was getting washer on auger shaft. Had to line it up in the blind.
