Delbert T Bloomfield , IA August 28, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Dishwasher DU920PFGB2 Water leak from the right side of the dishwasher door Replaced the felt seal and door vent assembly by removing the inside panel of the door and cleaning off the old seal and replacing with the new one. The vent assembly simply snapped out and was easy to replace with the new one. No more leaks and Mother was happy. Removal of the screws required a torx screw driver and someone to hold the door open while the panel was replaced. Easy fix. Beth C Vienna , VA June 06, 2022 Appliance: Kenmore Dishwasher Undercounter 66515782300 Water leaking. First, I replaced the door gasket because it was gunked up and original on this old machine, it being the usual suspect. The result was more water! Not the result of the new gasket, however. I looked at the website for ideas and company reps. I removed the inside door and cleaned the upper left stream vent and everything else in sight. The machine was still leaking so I stopped cleaning and kept looking. Once I removed the lower spray assembly at the bottom of the machine, I saw a small portion of the pump outlet seal outside of the pump frame. It had stretched and escaped via some loose screws. Ureka. After the installation of a new pump outlet seal and lower spray ring bearing and tightening all pump screws, I put away the dish pans and get a better machine wash that before I started.
