Rachael I Phillipsburg , NJ April 10, 2015 Appliance: Model KSB50B My kitchenaid glass blender (model ksb50b) has a seal in the lid which had worn out this blender can not be used without the seal it is definitely an example of "planned obsolescence" I found this seal online and it fits my blender. Please note that this DOES fit perfectly model KSB50B since this model is NOT listed on the AppliancePartsPros site as one of the models compatible with this seal. I am so grateful to AppliancePartsPros.com because without this part, I would have to discard this blender. You cannot buy GLASS blenders anymore which is a shame so I need to keep this going as long as possible. I ordered three of these seals since they do wear out over time. Don't hesitate to order this; you won't be disappointed. Read More... 21 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
Rebecca D Carpinteria , CA June 09, 2014 Appliance: KitchenAid Blender KSB5WH3 The lid seal of my kitchenaid blender needed replacing I found AppliancePartsPros.com and used my model number to begin locating the seal. My number did not match, it lacked one number. I called the tech support person and she explained that the grid behind the seal on the website was in inches and then I realized that it was the right size. The old seal was made out of fiber cloth and the new one is rubber. It fits and it can be cleaned by removing it after using, unlike the original seal. Very satisfied with the customer service and the replacement part. Read More... 7 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
