Whirlpool W10900107 Range Infinite Switch OEM Part

I ordered the correct part from AppliancePartsPros.com. When I received it, I opened the package and identified the parts I would need for my application. I cleaned up around my work space, then turned the power off to the appliance. I removed all the burners to get to the mounting screws for the range top. I then lifted the range top and supported it so I could see what I was working on . I first inspected all the wiring for breaks, or fraying. Then I moved on to the switch. Two screws and it was off. I noticed that the connectors were in different positions on the back of the switch from the original, so I made sure each wire went to the same labled connector on the back of the switch. I then screwed in the switch. While the range top was open I cleaned up a bit. Gets messy. Then I screwed down the range top and reinstalled the burners. The switch came with a handy break off type of control arm so you could select the best length for your application. It also comes with several different inserts for your knob so you can have the right one. I installed the knob onto the switch, and put it in the off position. Then I turned the power back on and tested. To my surprise the burner heated right up. With the old switch the burner took its time to heat up.. So now I have the added benefit of a switch that works and a burner that heats up fast. Pretty cool. I plan replacing the other switches just to get that benefit. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros!

I ordered a new switch from Appliance Parts Pros. The price was good and the delivery was unbelievable. The wiring took a bit of deductive reasoning as the diagrams from the switch manufacturer didn't seem to match my unit but all worked out great.
