My sons and myself did the repair ourselves replacing the glass cooktop with the help of YouTube . Took our time (3 hrs ) and saved a nice piece of change ????

This was an easy fix on my Jenn-Air: I just had to lift the cooktop out of the counter and then take out a few screws around the sides of the unit to lift off the old glass surface. Then just set the new glass top in place and put the screws back. The burners, etc. are not connected to the glass cooktop so you don't have to do disconnect/connect them or any other internal parts.

Was able to easily find the replacement part; ordered it and received it within two days. The replacement was more complicated than I anticipated so I had the local appliance shop send a repairman to make the exchange. It was going to require disconnecting the electric source (not just turning off the breaker) in order to lift out the cooktop. The replacement was simple enough and your website had a great video explaining the process. The unanticipated complication was how the cooktop was "wired" underneath the counter top.

Replaced

I ordered a new Switch, Infinite. I selected one day service since we really wanted the cooktop fixed right away. The part arrived the next day and was the exact same switch I needed. The repair was very easy once I unhooked everything and lifted the unit out. I did take too many of the screws out since I wasn't sure which screws held the top on, but on assembly all the screws were used and the cooktop is back working as before.
