Pleasant , SC April 21, 2023 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator 25 Cubic Foot 4 Door Bottom Mount WRX735SDBM00 Ice maker production intermittent, then leaked water from dispenser My whirlpool is 9 years old and otherwise in good shape, however the icemaker started acting up over a few weeks, first not producing, and then ultimately cycling on and staying on too long, while water hit the floor from the dispenser. After reading up on this failure point, I bought both the valve and icemaker harness and tackled renewing these parts. A week later, all is back to normal and functioning as intended. Guy H England , AR July 21, 2018 Ice maker stopped working. The ice marker itself was pretty easy. Just a few screws and done. Replacing the wiring harness was a bit more tricky due to the amount of connections. Use my phone to take up close and detailed pictures so I would remember what connectors went to which post.
