Thomas R Stillwater , MN January 10, 2017 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer DG412 Gas valve on gas dryer leaking Replaced valve had some trouble removing the fitting from the valve as the new fitting was slightly too large and had to be replaced with the fitting from the old valve. Used a large crescent wrench to grip the valve at the base and I was able to apply enough force to remove both fittings transferring old fitting to new valve. The instructions were detailed and excellent. The dryer is up and running fine. Martin R Brea , CA October 03, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer MDG6800AWW Maytag gas dryer had no heat Using Appliance Parts Pros videos, I was able to isolate the problem by testing each electrical component. After all had tested good, the last possibility was a bad gas valve. After reading the Q & A section, I was pretty confident it was the valve. I ordered a new one from Appliance Parts Pros. It arrived the next day. Now the dryer works great! Lisa A Oreland , PA November 03, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer MDG9357AWW Dryer kept at a low heat similar to being on the delicate cycle My Maytag gas dryer kept at a low heat, similar to being on the "Delicate Cycle". All sensors and thermostats tested ok with the multimeter. Most solutions suggested online were other parts. I had a feeling the flame should have been bigger after ignition, but did not witness in the past my dryer during normal operation. The solenoid coils did not change the symptom. I found a schematic of my dryer and what parts interacted with one another. In addition, I combed the internet to find how the gas valve was constructed...since there are 2 coils. Once I found the valve diagram, I realized that there could be a chance there wasn't enough gas being fed through the valve(s). Well, the replacement of the gas valve was the fix! I know it's a rare occurrence, but now I know the proper size of how the flame should look. It sure saves on buying a new dryer!!! Jack F Hackettstown , NJ July 20, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer MDG6000AWW No heat in the maytag gas dryer With the help of a friend, I replaced the broken Flat Style Dryer Igniter. Once that was working, it was discovered gas wasn't always being supplied to the igniter to ignite. Should I get the coils or buy the entire Gas Valve. After reading comments on your website, I purchased the Gas Valve. Now the dryer has heat like never before. Comments: your website is extremely friendly and the exploded parts diagrams are extremely helpful. Both of my orders arrived the day after they were shipped, and they were shipped the day after I placed my evening order. The parts were an exact duplicate of the ones they replaced -- only yours worked! I am 100% satisfied!
