My Maytag gas dryer kept at a low heat, similar to being on the "Delicate Cycle". All sensors and thermostats tested ok with the multimeter. Most solutions suggested online were other parts. I had a feeling the flame should have been bigger after ignition, but did not witness in the past my dryer during normal operation. The solenoid coils did not change the symptom. I found a schematic of my dryer and what parts interacted with one another. In addition, I combed the internet to find how the gas valve was constructed...since there are 2 coils. Once I found the valve diagram, I realized that there could be a chance there wasn't enough gas being fed through the valve(s). Well, the replacement of the gas valve was the fix! I know it's a rare occurrence, but now I know the proper size of how the flame should look. It sure saves on buying a new dryer!!!
