Dale B Lancaster , SC July 08, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Upright Freezer MQF2056TEW02 Wasn't defrosting so the freezer would clog with ice Replaced the defrost heater and timer. Wasn't entirely sure which was the culprit, since I didn't have the test tools or knowhow to figure out, so replaced both. Bit of a pain, in that I had to first manually defrost the freezer, then take it apart to get to the heater and timer. Replacement itself was pretty straightforward. Read More...
