How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6022197 / WPW10486820 Heater Wire Harness (Dishwasher)

Parts ordered. Parts delivered. Parts installed. Verified operation. Freezer currently operating at -4 degrees F after 24 hrs. of operation. Issue corrected. Replace the two items ordered if this is your issue. For the cost not worth trouble shooting to verify specific part failure! 

Replaced the defrost heater and timer. Wasn't entirely sure which was the culprit, since I didn't have the test tools or knowhow to figure out, so replaced both. Bit of a pain, in that I had to first manually defrost the freezer, then take it apart to get to the heater and timer. Replacement itself was pretty straightforward. 

I have a friend that services HVAC and appliances. When he has trouble with local suppliers finding parts or getting them quick enough, he comes to me and I search online for him, as he does not have access to a computer. Appliance Parts Pros, so far, has had whatever he's looking for and gets it here the next day. We are in very rural central Nebraska. I highly recommend them.
